Talking Points

You know what's useful? Being able to refer to one's self. Like, if I wanted a drink from Daddy's cup, I used to point to the cup and say "uh! mm! uh!". Now all I do is look at the cup and say, "Beh-Beh?" If I think the point needs a little oomph, I'll point at my chest, too. Works like a charm.

Actually, all sorts of words are useful:
- "Spoo" (spoon)
- "Cah" (encore/again)
- "Biby" (Sara/baby)
- "Whozzat?" (Hi, Sara)
- "Diddy" (Daddy and/or Mommy)
- "Mama" (an animal's parent)
- "Caw" (car)
- "Hohhhhm" (home)
- "They-et-is!" (there it is)
- "Uh oh" (I dropped something)
- "Honk" (let me squeeze your nose, please)

And my favourite:
- "Bus! Bus! BUS! BUSSS! Bus!" (I saw a bus)

Guess What I Got!

I went to visit Mum today and she was very happy to see me. She told me she had a great gift for me. Needless to say, I was pretty excited. When I saw what it was, I was overjoyed!
